Dan Weirback (Weyerbacher), Founder & President
Dan was introduced to homebrewing by a friend in the mid-1980′s. Having owned or a managed a small business or two over the previous 15 years, Dan thought he could combine his small business experience with the joy of brewing, and decided to launch Weyerbacher Brewing Company in 1995, with the help and encouragement of his wife Sue.Previously Dan had co-owned a swimming pool service company, a potato chip distribution route, and had managed other small businesses between these stints. Always interested in learning more about great beer, Dan has traveled to Europe numerous times in order to explore their local brews firsthand. Several Weyerbacher brews have come out of these travels.

Currently, when he isn’t spending time at the brewery, Dan enjoys reading, relaxing and navigating in Equestrian Combined Driving Events with his wife Sue.

Barbara Lampe, Vice President 
After 10 years working with Dan on a consulting basis, Barb joined Weyerbacher as a full time employee in 2006 as VP Finance and Administration. That means she gets to answer the phone, manage the accounting function and strategic planning process, develop budgets and hold us accountable so we achieve our goals.In her previous business life she was a corporate lender for regional banks, a management consultant and very active in many local organizations such as Musikfest, Leadership Lehigh Valley, St. Lukes Hospital and Quakertown Hospital. She serves on several boards including Ben Franklin Technology Partners Board (past chairman), LifeQuest (chairman) and Rising Tide.

When not at Weyerbacher, Barb enjoys cooking, horseback riding, and drinking Weyerbacher on draft at home. She and Dick escape to Keuka Lake in upstate NY whenever they can.

Chris Wilson, Head Brewer
Chris received a B.S. in Physics in 1996 from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. He later went on to complete the Master Brewers Program from UC Davis in 2003.Chris moved from sunny Southern California where he was working as a brewer at Bayhawk Ales to join the Weyerbacher Team in early 2004. In 2006, Chris was promoted to Head Brewer.

Chris with his wife Jen and young son, Charlie live in Bethlehem, PA. He enjoys growing hot peppers in his garden, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, traveling and drinking good beer.

Chris received his B.A. degree in Anthropology and Philosophy from Juniata College and was for many years an Archeologist based in various locations throughout the U.S. including North Dakota, Vermont, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.When he is not at the Brewery, he enjoys hiking, traveling, playing guitar, making bread and tending the garden. Chris was looking for something that would combine his talents for working with his hands, his head and managing people when he started working part-time at the brewery. The brewery was a perfect fit for someone with his varied talents and work experiences and he joined the brewery full time in 2004.

Bob Fauteux, National Sales Manager
Bob joined Weyerbacher in February 2008. He was previously employed as sales manager for Kunda Beverage, which at the time was our wholesaler for the Philadelphia five-county area. He joined our team shortly after Kunda’s wholesale distribution was purchased by Origlio Beverage in December 2007.Bob’s focus is growing our business through our wholesalers with education, staff training, implementing programming, and communication. As a 26 year vet in the beer business, he looks forward to the opportunities that are in front of him.

Bob and his wife Linda have been married for 31 years and they enjoy traveling and spending time with their two sons Matt and Scott who have been known to enjoy a Weyerbacher or two. They can also be found manning the Weyerbacher booth at many beer events.

Richard Lampe, Sales
Richard F. Lampe (aka Dick) is a native of New Castle, Pennsylvania. He holds degrees from Grove City College, (Bachelor of Music) and Temple University (Master of Music, in History and Literature). For thirty four years he taught music and established and conducted the award winning choirs of the Upper Perkiomen High School. He also founded the Choral Arts Society of the Upper Perkiomen Valley, now Valley Choral Society(www.valchor.com). In addition he is a partner in StandingStone Media (www.standingstonemedia.com) a web development company.Dick’s involvement with Weyerbacher began early on and after his retirement from teaching he began working full-time for the brewery starting as a driver/salesman and more recently focusing on sales. When not out on the road selling Weyerbacher, Dick can be found riding his bicycle.

Mike Lubieski, Regional Sales Manager (Philadelphia)
Mike is our Regional Sales manager for the five-county Philadelphia region. He graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Music from University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Before Weyerbacher, Mike put this degree to work as an Account Manager for Hoshino USA (Ibanez guitars) as well as teaching guitar and piano. Being a huge fan of delicious beer, coupled with his sales background and outgoing personality ,made the decision to switch to the beer industry a no –brainer for Mike.Mike was married in October 2009 to his long-time girlfriend, Katie, who owns Smak Parlour, a successful clothing boutique in Philadelphia. They call South Philly home, so you’re likely to see them out on the town with their friends at their favorite pubs. Mike loves playing guitar, watching all Philadelphia sports, gardening, working on his house and spending time with his friends trying new brews.

Natalie DeChico, Regional Sales Manager (New Jersey)
Natalie is our Regional Sales Manager for the state of New Jersey. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Her last semester was spent studying in England where she developed her taste for “real ale”. As a part time bartender at The Hulmeville Inn (“The Best Beer Bar in the ‘Burbs”) and as one of the original members of the ALEiens homebrew club, and current club President, in Bucks County, Natalie was given an opportunity by Weyerbacher to put her beer knowledge and enthusiasm to work.When she’s not on the road in NJ, Natalie spends time homebrewing with her father (who has been brewing since 1992!), running the ALEiens Homebrew Club, and hanging out at The Hulmeville Inn. Natalie also enjoys cooking, snowboarding and fishing. Natalie was the 2011 Philly Beer Geek!

Bobby Clark, Regional Sales Manager (North East & Central Pennsylvania)
Bobby Clark studied Business Administration at Bucks County Community College. He grew up in Lower Bucks County, the same area where he first discovered his love for craft beer.With his first taste of a Russian Imperial Stout, Bobby knew he found something truly remarkable. That one Russian Imperial Stout, North Coast’s Old Rasputin, grew into an adoration for barrel aged, farm house & sour ales. Eventually, homebrewing and traveling the globe to try great, imaginative beer was added to Bobby’s cache of passions, alongside going to basement punk rock shows, dining on international cuisines, and going out with his friends.

Bobby joined the sales team after 6 years in the banking industry. He began volunteering at beer festivals in the summer of 2010, then writing for Philly Beer Scene, bartending and working for Weyerbacher on a casual basis throughout most of 2011. Bobby’s first day in his current position came shortly after Christmas, that year.

Chris Dayton, Regional Sales Manager (Western PA and Ohio)
Chris (the fifth with that name to join our Weyerbacher team since the beginning and fourth on-staff today!) resides in Pittsburgh, PA and was formerly a sales rep with our wholesaler, Vecenie Distributing, in that area. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management. “Study sessions” in a few crafty basement bars lead this former chef and restaurant manager to hobbies including home-brewing and beer-cations, and ultimately to a career in beer.A self-proclaimed foodie, you will normally find Chris searching for his next best meal or enjoying a fine brew and cigar on his patio. He also enjoys retreats to his family’s farm in Waynesburg, watching EPL soccer matches, PSU athletics, and much to the chagrin of our hometown staff, he is an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan.

We think he can be forgiven since his ultimate goal is to expose more people to craft beer in his area… That’s something we can all raise a pint to!

Chris Reilly, Laboratory
Chris graduated from King’s College while majoring in General Science, Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology and for several years, applied his biological knowledge in the medical field at a number of hospitals.Although he is passionate about the science of life, his ever-inquiring mind needed a change and a challenge. After discovering homebrewing, and catching the brewing bug, California lured him to UC Davis, where he completed the Master Brewers program. After a quick stint at River Horse and a few months later, he came to Weyerbacher. In 2013, Chris began running the laboratory and Quality Control operations. When not homebrewing, Chris enjoys sharing his perspective through his photography. Additionally, you can find him playing guitar, gardening, camping, and traveling.


Geoff Michalski – Production Supervisor

Geoff Michalski, Production Supervisor
A graduate of UNC Wilmington in 2002, Geoff holds a B.S. in Business Administration, which he has yet to use directly. Deciding instead to pursue a career in brewing, Geoff joined Weyerbacher in 2007. It has given him the capability to combine his love of beer with his ability to work with his hands.  Working filtration and bottling has allowed Geoff to rock Springsteen in the brewery while performing specialized quality control of the Double Simcoe tanks.In what little time Geoff has outside the brewery, Geoff enjoys playing with his kids, cooking, smoking hunks of meat, grilling said meat, gardening and fishing. Geoff lives in Jersey with his beautiful wife, Stacey, and two children, Sam and Emily.

Bill Bragg, Visitors Center & PR Manager
Bill came to Weyerbacher in the summer of 2006 as a volunteer in the Visitors Center. He stocked the shelves and filled growlers for a year until he was promoted to Manager of the Visitors Center in the winter of 2007. Come to the brewery on a Saturday and there will be a good chance he’ll give you the tour of the facility. In March of 2011, Bill assumed the full-time role of Office Manager in addition to the Visitors Center gig. In 2013, Bill transitioned to a PR-focused role focusing on our website, twitter and facebook pages. In October 2013, Bill managed the construction of a new Visitors Center bar which is now open 6-days-a-week. Bill has a passion for spreading his love of craft and Belgian beers; he also serves a part-time role as a salesperson or by doing tastings throughout the Lehigh Valley.Prior to joining Weyerbacher full-time, Bill has held a variety of roles in various industries: mechanic and salesperson in several high-quality bicycle shops, Underwriter and Property Appraiser for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, and Human Resources for our New Jersey wholesaler Hunterdon Brewing.

Bill lives locally and can be found riding his bike to work a few days a week. When Bill isn’t at work he can be found tinkering on bikes in his garage, turning wrenches at Cycle Fitters (the local pro bike shop), kayaking down the Delaware or relaxing with his wife, brand-new baby girl, and many cats on the deck with piles and piles of grilled things and a great group of friends enjoying fantastic beer. He likes run-on sentences, too. His goal is to find a beer for every person - ESPECIALLY those that think they don’t like beer.

Scott Bicksler, Lead Brewer
Scott brews on a daily basis, helping to keep the brews on track and monitoring fermentation amongst other things. He spent several years studying Electrical Engineering at Drexel and Graduated from Temple University in Communications 2004, then completed the American Brewers Guild Diploma course in 2012. He has worked in almost all aspects of the beverage industry including bartending, wholesale sales and retail sales. Scott owned and operated a burger restaurant for a few years until finally realizing that he wanted to get back to beer. After a year at River Horse Brewing, Scott began brewing at Weyerbacher in 2012 and has recently relocated from lower Bucks county to the Nockamixon Area, where he can enjoy fishing, kayaking, camping and other outdoor activities with his wife and young son Lukas. He and his wife host a large Oktoberfest party every year stemming from one of his fondest beer memories, attending the 200th Anniversary of Oktoberfest in Munich in 2010, which he will be happy to tell you about while drinking some Autumn Fest.

A lover of music and great beer, Ian is our token Vegetarian at the brewery. While away from the brewery, he can be found wailing on his drum kit. While at the brewery, Ian can usually be found kegging our great beers and on the weekends he can be found providing free samples at the Visitors Center and he’s our newest tour guide! Come by the Visitors Center and look for Ian and  say hello! He’d be the guy rocking the GIGANTIC beard!

Gary AKA Shawn Ferraro LOVES Disney!

Gary (AKA Shawn Ferraro AKA Groundskeeper Willie) is one of our cellarman responsible for getting your Weyerbacher beer into a bottle. When not loading bottles and yelling at the machines, Gary enjoys renovating houses, traveling, fishing, yelling, camping, eating & drinking, yelling some more, spending time with his girlfriend, family and dog. He may also be found walking around with his shirt off. Fortunately for us, that doesn’t happen at work! Of course, Gary loves drinking Weyerbacher beer.

Remington (no, not named after the firearms or the ‘80’s TV drama) graduated from Cabrini College in May of 2011 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He was introduced to craft beer by his friend Doug and loved it from the beginning. A year of homebrewing inspired him to find a job at a brewery. As the Financial Manager, he gets a chance to use his degree and love of craft beer. Remington came to Weyerbacher in November of 2012. He moved to Bethlehem from Levittown, PA. He enjoys watching Flyers hockey, playing hockey and anything involving Christmas, all year round.

Jesse Miller, Visitors Center Bartender
Jesse is our Visitors Center full-time bartender. He was born and raised in the middle-of-nowhere, central Pennsylvania, where he spent the majority of his time running among farm fields, travelling and taking photographs. Fast-forward a handful of years and he still runs, travels and takes pictures, albeit now recuperating with a new-found love for “real” beer. Jesse graduated from Moravian College in 2011 with a degree in Media Arts and wound up at Weyerbacher in the Fall of 2013 where he does absolutely nothing with his degree but enjoys working where he’s surrounded by great beer and better customers! Jesse now lives in Bethlehem, PA and can be found running, rooting on a Pittsburgh sports team despite living in a Philly-sports-centric area or day-dreaming of where he wants to travel to next, usually with a Weyerbacher beer in hand.

Matt Snyder, Brewer
Matt is a full-time brewer for Weyerbacher since October 2013. Matt graduated the American Brewers Guild, apprenticed for Weyerbacher, worked in the cellar and then moved to the brew house a few months later. Previous to brewing, Matt spent 11 years in retail management in-and-around the Lehigh Valley Mall. Needless to say, Matt’s never been happier as doing what he loves is “so freaking fulfilling”!Matt studied business management and environmental science however both degrees took a temporary back seat to his passion for beer and decided to pursue it as a career. One day Matt will go back and finish his degrees, but for now he is concentrating on becoming the best brewer he possibly can. Matt can be found metaphysically expanding upon himself and living the simple life.

In Matt’s free time he likes to disc golf, hike, homebrew, read dorky fantasy books, spend time with family, listen to a wide array of music spanning from blue grass to death metal, collect oddities from thrift stores, pretend to be good at cooking, have good beers with awesome friends and of course, maintain his sweet beard.

Adam Rann, Cellarman
Adam graduated from Susquehanna University in 2010 with a degree in Psychology. His interest in craft beer began in college and developed there through frequent trips to the local brewpub. Before Weyerbacher, Adam worked at River Horse Brewing Co. for a year where he was the warehouse manager and the AM shift cellarman. At Weyerbacher, Adam work on the production side of things. You’ll find him on the bottling line every day: closing cases, stacking pallets, running forklifts and, of course,  cleaning!Beyond beer, Adam’s interests are spending time with friends, traveling, golfing, hunting, fishing, hiking, food and drawing.

Brandon Nardella, Shipping Manager
Brandon joined Weyerbacher in February of 2013, right after he and his wife welcomed their twin daughters into the world. Brandon was introduced to the craft beer scene while employed at Hunterdon Brewing Company. It was love at first sight. After a few years of distributing craft beer, Brandon decided that he wanted to continue his career at a brewery. A life-long resident of Easton, Brandon’s search brought him close to home. He then began his career at Weyerbacher where he handles shipping and receiving. During the day you can find him preparing orders to ship, taking inventory, and loading/unloading trucks. A self-proclaimed “hop head,” Brandon enjoys drinking IPAs while watching Notre Dame football and Flyers games. When he’s not at work or drinking beer, Brandon enjoys playing golf.
