A stiff competition requiring in depth knowledg of brewing and beer styles, breweries, etc. took place over the last couple of weeks. Easton, PA • April 19,2010 The Weyerbacher Brewing Company recently claimed a bronze medal in the Brewers Association (BA) World Beer Cup® 2010, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the world and recognizes the most outstanding beers being produced in the world today.
Weyerbacher Brewing Company, Inc., a small artisanal brewery from Easton, Pennsylvania, has ceased production of its beer “Zotten” due to prior rights and US trademark of “Brugse Zot”, a beer produced and commercialized by De Halve Maan, a brewery located in Bruges, Belgium.
