Viridis Lupulus

Viridis Lupulus is a celebration of the renewal of spring!  This new seasonal “Spring Hop” brew will be released  each year in spring / early summer.  Each brew will feature a different selection of hops from year to year.  Viridis Lupulus is unfiltered and bottle conditioned, packaged in a 750ml  cork and cage bottle.

The 2014 and subsequent releases will be dated with a year on the label but this is NOT to assist in cellaring – it’s the complete opposite!

2013 (First Release)

2013 Viridis Lupulus was an unfiltered golden-copper IPA with an aggressive hop profile.  Massive amounts of Apollo, Calypso, Centennial, and Galaxy hops fill this beer with dank citrus and tropical aromas.  The bottle-conditioning will propel the aromas out of your glass and create a tight, fluffy head.  This beer is a pure hop experience!  7.5% ABV, 95 IBU

Viridis Lupulus 2014 is made with a ridiculous amount of El Dorado, Centennial and Bravo hops. We’ve used a new piece of equipment on this new brew… The Hop Minion! It’s a dry-hopping recirculation pump and special vessel which helps get the most out of the hops added to the fermenters. Look for it in the market in mid-to-late May. Again: Please don’t cellar it – Viridis Lupulus is best consumed fresh!
