Zulu, 3.7% ABV, is an “Eastoner Weisse”; a wheat ale that has a satisfying lactic sourness that was crafted in Easton, PA.  A simple malt combination of Pilsner and Wheat fermented with both brewer’s yeast and lactic acid-producing microorganisms gives rise to a beer that is pale yellow, surprisingly complex, and dangerously refreshing.

As with all Brewers’ Select releases, Zulu was bottled in a very small run and will not be made again.  Look for Zulu on draft at select finer restaurants and pubs and in bottles exclusively at the Weyerbacher Visitors Center!

Available starting March 23rd, 2013 at the Weyerbacher Visitors Center.

Note:  The Brewers Select Series will continue into a new series now that the NATO alphabet has been concluded with this beer.  Stay tuned for the first several installments coming in 2013 which will be named after constellations!

First visit to the brewery. The people very friendly and helpful. I liked the Zulu and it will go very nice with those summer back yard grilling times! It was interesting to try the reserve, first of it’s kind for me, I think that will go good with some strawberries! Got me a growler of quad, bottles of idiot and heresy. First class act, great beer!

Really enjoy Zulu. And it’s nice to have a craft beer that is low ABV. Think about making this a summer offering (under another name, of course). Thank you for this.
