Dan “Nads” Hitchcock, a former brewer here, has opened Rushing Duck Brewing Co. in Chester, NY.  While at Weyerbacher, Nads created some truly excellent entries in the Brewers’ Select Series including Foxtrot, Kilo and November.  He’s also credited with getting our funky firkin program going which featured Mango Double Simcoe – a real treat!   Be sure to visit Rushing Duck soon!

Jean Broillet IV, a former Weyerbacher cellarman, opened Tired Hands Brewing Co. in Ardmore, PA.  Jean is best known for entertaining the staff with his ingenious homebrews featuring truly exotic ingredients.  It is rumored that  the name ‘Tired Hands’ comes from his tenure here at Weyerbacher when our staff was so small, everyone had a large portion of cleaning to do.  Check out Tired Hands soon!
