Here are some photos of the construction progress thus far… we’ll add photos to this post and bump it up in the news feed so you can see what things are looking like these days! We’re extremely excited about the progress and can’t wait to move our fermenters and bottling lines into this new building!

Used Kentucky Bourbon barrels staged and awaiting their Blithering Idiot fills to make Insanity! (this area is where the bottling line will be)

Four more brand-new JVNW 80bbl fermenters have arrived! This brings our total count of 80 bbl fermenters to EIGHT!

Interior, looking west. Epoxy-coated floors, closed filter room to the right and translucent doors to what will be the new Visitors Center!

Exterior, back parking lot. As you can see, there was quite a lot of excavation done to sink this building 10+ feet into the bedrock lurking beneath the parking lot!

The hole, almost totally dug out. Footer excavation underway. The area behind the backhoe is the last area yet to be excavated.

What bourbon barrels are used? Heaven Hill?
That distillery has been in the mix as has Marker’s.. however it is not the spirit maker we’re focused on, rather the barrel they used!
Mmm makers mark! Yes, the barrel is what it’s all about. I’m very excited to come up and buy a case of insanity. Love the new label
