It’s been seventeen years since Dan Weirback decided to brew beer for a living – and WOW, what a ride!
This new brew commemorates our seventeenth anniversary. As with all of our anniversary brews, the aptly-named “Seventeen” is 10.5% abv. It’s a saison-style, too… so we’re going with the term “Super Saison!” Seventeen is brewed with grapefruit peel, sweet and bitter orange peel, lemon peel and pink peppercorns and is delightfully refreshing for such a big brew!
Seventeen will be available at select locations during Philly Beer Week and will debut this weekend (Friday 6/1 and Saturday 6/2) at the Visitors Center for sale in 12 oz bottles and growlers.
Will this be available at general retail locations (wegman’s) and/or distributors (Westy’s)? Or is it brewery only?
Seventeen will be available to all distributors in all markets. Individual shops, such as Wegmans, can get it… though as I recall they don’t generally carry the one-off beers we do from time to time. If you fond that they do have it, please post back here to let everyone know!
Total Wine in SC had Sixteen, so I assume they will have Seventeen. Was able to find a 4-pack of Sixteen about 2 weeks ago. Alc. is more present than a year ago. When will you start shipping it? And how long before you ship”black sour”? Thanks.
