Weyerbacher Blasphemy Update

For those of you wondering where all the Blasphemy went:  We do still have some here however we are not going to be shipping it.  Unfortunately, two of the five bottling runs of this year’s Blasphemy did not carbonate properly and so they do not meet our QC standards.

Tragic as this may seem, we refuse to sell an inferior product and has been decided that we will be sending these two batches down the drain.  I was not present at the meeting and I could never be sure, but I thought that I heard the sound of “Taps” being played, gently.

We will make sure that those distributors that did not receive Blasphemy 2011 will receive it in 2012.

What’s On Tap For Saturday, October 08, 2011 – 12PM – 3PM

The Visitor Center is open every Saturday 12 Noon to 3PM for Tours, Tastings & Sales.

Our tours are free and are held at roughly 12:30, 1:15 and 2:15 and are approximately 30 minutes in duration.  If you intend to take a tour and purchase beer, consider arriving earlier and taking one of the two earlier tours as the bar area can get quite crowded when the last tour is concluded.  No reservations are required however if you plan to come in a larger group, please give us a heads-up several days in advance by clicking here.  Bus tours REQUIRE advance notice and reservation confirmation!

Below is a list of the beer we expect to have available this Saturday.  Please be advised that beer is available on a first come, first served basis.

makes growler filling impossible.
Please bear with us.

Double Simcoe IPA
Merry Monks Ale
Imperial Pumpkin Ale
Blithering Idiot

We also have 750ml bottles of Rapture Wild Ale and Merry Monks Belgian Style Golden Ale *

* Please note that our custom mix-n-match variety packs are full cases only.  750ml bottles are 12 bottles to a case and 12 oz bottles are 24 to a case.

** Please be advised that per PLCB rules, we may only fill our own growlers.  We simply cannot fill a growler with another brewery’s logo.  The good news:  Our growlers are just $3 and have a self-adhesive label so they could possibly be filled elsewhere as well.

*** This inventory is for 1/6 barrel kegs aka ‘sixtels’.  Some of our styles are available in 1/2 Barrel, please ask bartender for availability.  A sixtel is a 23 1/2″ tall by 9 1/2″ diameter cylinder with a 5.16 gallon volume and an American Sankey coupler.  We charge a $30 deposit or welcome an empty Microstar branded empty keg as an exchange.  We cannot receive any other brand of empty keg.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact bill@weyerbacher.com or call 610-559-5561 before Friday at 4pm.
