Any bottle limits on Rapture? Also, how’s this years Riserva coming along?

  2. avatar Bobby says:

How much does a case cost? Also, what kind of bottle count are you guys looking at?

    • avatar Bill Bragg says:

Bobby – We don’t have a price worked-out yet. The case count is approaching 300 cases… 12 750ml bottles to a case. This was not kegged and is nor is it available in 12 oz bottles.

  3. avatar Eric Mullen says:

What is the ABV? Label says 11.8%, but the other blog post says 6.7%.

    • avatar chriswilson says:

It is 6.7%. The final label has no ABV on it. What you see is a ghost from a previous itteration of the label left over from the beer the came before! Spooky! CW

  4. avatar Dean says:

Do you have to buy a full case, or is there an option to buy just one or two bottles?

    • avatar Bill Bragg says:

You can only buy a full case of beer from the brewery at this time. You will be given an opportunity to mix into your case any other 750 ml bottles we have available at that time. You can split up your case with any amount of friends later.

  5. avatar Alan C says:

I won’t be able to make it Thursday. I just wanted to make sure I can pick up a case on Saturday, assuming there are still some left.

  6. avatar Nick says:

Will you guys be open Friday? Or will I have to wait until Saturday if I can’t make it Thursday?

  7. avatar Mike Richard says:

Any idea on when we can expect the price to be figured out? Also, if it won’t be figured out until fairly close to the release, is there any way to give me a ballpark figure?

  8. avatar Keith says:

On BA, Mr Weyerbacher said $17 a bottle. Can dilute the case price by adding Merry Monks or Simcoe for $6.50 per 750 mL bottle. Just passing it along, not guaranteeing anything.

    • avatar Bill Bragg says:

Keith, I’ll guarantee it for ya. ;^)

This information is correct. Each bottle of Rapture is $17.00 and each bottle of MM or DSIPA is $6.50… must purchase a total of 12 750ml bottles per case. MM and DSIPA will be available ‘while supplies last’. We have more Rapture than we do MM or DSIPA…. so be advised. (no, I don’t have a specific number but we have less of that in total than we have Rapture. MMMMkkkkkk?)

      Cheers!

hey bill, i wish i could get to the brewery, but i live in virginia(near DC). do you guys have any plans to distribute this lovely stuff or is batch size to small?

  10. avatar Mat says:

Are you guys going to allow a bottle share at the release?

    • avatar Bill Bragg says:

I talked to Dan W about this. He said that it has happened before; Sometimes we knew about it and sometimes we didn’t. As long as things are done sorta low key, we don’t see anyone bothering you. That’s about the best I can “speak” on the subject. We’re really not against it, just don’t want to see it become a real big thing. it must, however, occur outside of the building

  11. avatar Nic says:

Do you guys take credit cards for beer purchases or cash only?
Just want to make sure I can buy as much Rapture as I’d like

  12. avatar Mike says:

    Still any left for sale?
