Harvest Ale – Hand Picked Goodness

Harvest Ale is back!

We have packaged the first round of our fresh-hop beer, Harvest Ale, and it is as good as ever.   We have increased the hops 20% due to a great yield this year at the Weyerbacher Hop Farm.  Last year due to the exceedingly rainy season and subsequent poor yield, we had to supplement with dry hops.  This year the yield was fantastic and the hops looked and smelled great before taking the plunge into the beer.  So the flavor and aroma are created solely from freshly picked, straight off the vine, piney, grassy, tasty wet-hops!!!

We will have it on draft and in bottles at the Visitors Center this Saturday September 4th, 2010 from 12pm till 3pm.  Please come by and try it.

If you want to see how much fun it is to pick hops, check out the video we posted off picking day at the farm!
