Verboten in draft and bottles has shipped to several markets already, with the rest to follow in the next week or two. A Belgian-Style Pale Ale, Verboten packs a lot of flavor into a 5.9% ABV session beer. Beer writers Jack Curtin and Lew Bryson are both pleading with us to take this beer year ’round. Let us know what you think of the idea once you’ve tried it.

[...] Weirback is employing my and That Other Guy’s names to gin up interest for the The Beer That Dare Not Speak Its Name, but has he released it in this, his major market? He has not. He is just tantalizing [...]
Haven’t had Verboten yet, but if it’s the same recipe as Z*tten (I can’t sued for saying it, can I?), then please count my vote as in favor of having this year-round!
I’ll put you on the list.
I agree! Please take it yearround. This is my favorite beer, bar none!
Stir it up Lew, it will not be part of your steaming pile. This is a nice easy going spring beer that is both refreshing and satisfying. Great with a steak last week and salmon tonight.
dan, when are you going to make strawberry wheat beer again? it might be a good time to try it again.

I’m gonna have to say no to that. I think you might be one of the only people to remember that one. Probably a good thing.

Love this beer. We’re keeping it on tap at Porters’ Pub in Easton as long as we can get it!
Year round would be great. Nice change of pace.
Tried this great beer for the first time last week and loved it! I vote year round
Good stuff for sure! I thought it was an import……..
Thanks Joey. That’ll definitely be a vote in the year-round column.

I sampled Verboten at a great liquor store in central New Jersey. I was one of the few who had the chance to buy a 6-pack. Awsome beer.
