Imperial Pumpkin Ale

Like a pyramid for a pharaoh, we set out to make a bold monument for The King of the Pumpkins!

This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is the mother of all pumpkin ales. It is heartier, spicier, and more “caramelly” and “pumpkiny” than its faint brethren! We have added lots of pumpkin along with cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of cardamom and clove giving this beer a spicy, full-bodied flavor. This truly is an Imperial Pumpkin Ale.

Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. It is available August through November.

I am in no way a connoisseur of ales, but this ale rocks! DW and I were turned onto Imperial Pumpkin Ale during a recent night out. The bartender offered us a taste and we were hooked. Can’t go wrong with a couple of bottles during the fall. We’re going to start trying each of your seasonal beers, here’s to them keeping to this standard. Can I get a “growler” of the Pumpkin Ale?

Hey Doug! Unfortunately, we are out of pumpkin on draft here at the brewery but look around for bars that do growler sales who may still have it available for you. Cheers!

Make a black and tan…I do this with the imperial pumpkin ale and a rogue chocolate stout. YUM!

It doesn’t sound like THAT would suck!
We do it here with our Old Heathen and/or Tiny. We call it a ‘Black and Orange’.

Hey Debbie! I hope you didn’t miss the boat! You’re best bet is to contact our wholesalers in CT (depending upon where in the state you live) to see where you may be able to find some. Click here to visit the page of their contact info. Happy hunting! Cheers!

For anyone in the Boston area, Boston Wine Exchange in the Financial District still has it on their shelves. I was just there about an hour ago.
